Job Description:

Midwest Land Group is the industry leader in land sales across 9 states in the midwest. Our business model focuses on connecting buyers and sellers of land real estate; primarily on hunting land, farmland, recreational, and investment properties.We are seeking highly motivated and professional Land Agents that currently hold or can hold a real estate salesperson or broker license in the states we serve.Our Land Agents are full-time Independent Contractors working in a 100% commission-based opportunity.Key Responsibilities:

• Professionally represent buyers and sellers of land real estate
• Obtain property listings and successfully market and assist sellers through the sales process
• Show properties to prospective buyers and assist buyers through the buying process
• Mediate the negotiation process and ensure a fair and honest dealing for all parties
• Develop contacts and network throughout the communities we serve
• Establish daily, weekly, monthly, and annual goals and establish a plan to achieve these goals
• Create and follow-up on leads, property listings and use MLG branded marketing tools to promote the MLG hunting, timber, and farm listings in your territory
• Professional knowledge of new business development, product marketing, and sales, including experience developing territory business plans.Desired Skills & Experience:
  • Expert knowledge related to recreational and rural real estate such as hunting, ranching, farming, minerals, wildlife habitat, land management, timber, and current events impacting landowners across the Midwest.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver information in a clear, precise manner
  • Computer proficiency skills with experience in MS Office (Word, Excel & Powerpoint), Google Docs, and other applicable software
  • Professional sales experience and consistent work history is preferred but not requiredPersonal Characteristics:
    • Strong passion for the outdoors, land management, and real estate
    • Self-motivated, self-starter with a strong desire to win
    • Financial stability is required with the ability to invest in marketing and start-up expenses
