System One is seeking candidates for an Electrical Design
Engineering Supervisor position -with a Fortune 500 nuclear
-utility in the Southeastern US. - This is a -direct hire
opportunity, -working onsite in Russellville, AR offering a

relocation assistance. As the Engineering Supervisor, you will
oversee the performance of engineering functions on a group level
to support the safe and efficient generation of electricity using
nuclear power. -Responsibilities include:
- Manage engineering work assignments to ensure the group is
responding appropriately to department and organizational needs.
Control engineering cost through maximization of staff productivity
and tracking expenditures within budget parameters. - - - - - - - -

- Monitor personnel and group effectiveness in achieving
established goals. Function as a team leader as needed. Supervise
personnel performance and resolve employee conflict or concerns.

- Communicate with all levels of the organization including
representing the department at all meetings. Propose process and
design changes that improve station and personnel efficiency.
- Ensure all activities are performed within regulatory and

- Interface with other Client nuclear -sites to implement best
practices in a standardized approach. Interface with regulatory and
industry representatives on behalf of station activities.
- Communicate technical information, concepts, and ideas verbally
and in writing. - Ideal Background
- B.S. Degree in Engineering. An Electrical Engineering degree
from a 4-year accredited engineering program is highly desired.

- 5+ years experience within a nuclear utility engineering
department, preferred areas are: Minor mods, plant engineering,
EFIN, -I&C, controllers, digital equipment. -
- Strong technical proficiency, -understanding of nuclear
generation principles and operation. Experience of the nuclear
industry standard design process is highly desired. -
- Strong servant leadership, communication, conflict management,
and change management skills are highly desired. -
- Candidates must meet or exceed ANSI/ANS 3.1-1978 and ANSI
Section 4.6.1. ANSI Section 4.6.1 - Engineer in Charge Position:
Engineering Supervisors or individuals serving in a supervisory
capacity -(UFSAR Table 13.12) -Requirements: (1) Bachelors Degree
in Engineering or Physical Sciences. (2) 3 years of professional
level experience in nuclear services, nuclear power plant
operation, or nuclear engineering and the overall nuclear
background to determine when to call consultants and contractors
for dealing with complex problems beyond the scope of the
organizations expertise.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is desired but not
required.
