Job Description The Master Data/Maintenance Planner supports the activity of the Maintenance Team by developing and implementing a comprehensive CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and developing/implementing a program for Preventative, Predictive, and Project/Backlog maintenance. The Master Data/Maintenance Planner ensures parts, resources, and tools are available and ready; assists Maintenance Manager with execution of the daily maintenance plan in conjunction with daily production plan. This role provides authoritative guidance and support to Maintenance Technicians and coordination guidance/support to Automation and Electronic Technicians. This position will act as a liaison to Maintenance Contractors and communicate planned activities/assignments. This position will report to the Director of Maintenance.Primary responsibilities: Develops/implements and maintains CMMS system for Maintenance. Modifies, improves, and adds Preventative Maintenance programs to CMMS. Develops and integrates new Preventative Maintenance programs as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
Manages work orders, documentation, and assets within the CMMS. Provides training on the CMMS to other users. Ensures that PM, EM, and Project/Backlog planned and unplanned work is complete, logged, and collected for future evaluation. Records site assets and equipment classifications assignments into CMMS. Oversee storeroom and manage parts inventory system through CMMS and coordination with Storeroom Clerk. Analyzes data, generating and distributing critical metrics and trend analysis reports, providing feedback to Maintenance Manager and/or Engineering on potential issues and improvement opportunities. Plans and schedules corrective and preventative maintenance activities by task and priority level. Assists Maintenance Manager with coordination of Maintenance Contractors, as necessary. Assists Maintenance Manager with coordination of Automation Technician for any software related work orders. Assists Maintenance Manager with authoritative delegation of PMs, EMs, and Project/Backlog to Maintenance Technicians. Directly oversees and coordinates with Storeroom clerk with management of storeroom, spare parts inventory, and maintenance tool requests. Proactively makes maintenance and repair decisions to keep the business functioning at a high level.
May be required to assist with PMs and EMs as requested by Maintenance Manager
Qualification Qualifications include: 3 years of experience in a Manufacturing or Automated Production environment 1-3 years of experience utilizing CMMS system (SAP, Maximo, Flix, MP2, MLS etc.) 2-3 years of experience in a Maintenance Technician position.
Exposure to TPM, PM Pillar, maintenance planning techniques and maintenance execution.
Prefer 1-3 years of relevant experience in a Maintenance Planner position. Relevant experience includes, planning and coordination of maintenance activities alongside of production schedule, budgeting of maintenance department in manufacturing setting, and tracking of maintenance KPIs. Able to work in a team environment where honest communication, a positive attitude, engagement, and personal accountability is expected. High level of computer expertise and competence with strong analytical skills. Ability to manage parts inventory for priority equipment, manage ordering and re-ordering. Ability to assemble job parts kits for planned maintenance activities. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Detail oriented individual who accurately records information. Strong understanding of mechanical processes, equipment and electrical systems. Must have continuous improvement mindset and familiarity with improvement methodologies. Ability and willingness to promote and support a positive culture and follow Westrock Coffee values. Ability to collaborate with all parts of the operation to achieve goals and objectives. Has positive conflict management skills. Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
