Available for candidates already in the US We’re recruiting for a
Software Development Manager to build and lead a brand-new, onshore
software engineering team for a financially strong, fast-growing US
business. This is a greenfield opportunity to establish a modern
engineering function from scratch. The successful candidate will
combine hands-on technical leadership with team building and
long-term architectural ownership. This role would suit an
Engineering Manager, Technical Lead, Team Lead, or Senior Software
Engineer ready to step into broader leadership responsibility. Key
Responsibilities • Build and scale a new engineering team (backend,
frontend, QA, DevOps) • Act as a player-coach, staying hands-on
while leading delivery • Own system architecture, technical design,
and engineering standards • Establish CI/CD, testing strategy, and
code quality frameworks • Lead development of a modern CRM platform
with SaaS ambitions • Work closely with senior leadership on
long-term product strategy Technology Stack • .NET / C# • AWS cloud
infrastructure • Microservices architecture • React (frontend) •
CI/CD pipelines • Agile delivery Candidates from Java or other
modern backend backgrounds are welcome if open to working within a
.NET environment. About the Opportunity The business is investing
heavily in onshore R&D and long-term product development. The
initial focus is a cloud-based CRM and services platform, with a
roadmap to evolve into a SaaS product serving a wider industry
market. This is not a legacy maintenance role. It’s a foundational
engineering leadership hire with genuine authority and long-term
progression toward Director-level leadership. Requirements •
Experience building cloud-based software systems • Previous
leadership experience (Engineering Manager, Tech Lead, or similar)
• Strong backend development background • Experience with AWS or
modern cloud platforms • Comfortable operating in a hands-on
leadership capacity This is a full-time, on-site position in
Arkansas. Relocation support is available for candidates already
