our team in Medical Surgical unit where you will provide
compassionate care to patients alongside a dedicated team of
Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and
Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). With a 1:6 nurse to patient
ratio, you will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs,
administering treatments, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative
environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care. PRN
Position How you'll contribute A Medical Surgical RN who excels in
this role: · Provides direct patient care to patients using the
nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards
of practice. · Performs plan of care intervention, including
medication administration, specimen collection, clinical
treatments, as well as other medical care treatment. · Documents
patient care given. · Monitors, records, and communicates patient
condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and
family. · Assists patients with performing activities of daily
living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and
ambulation. · Collaborates as needed across disciplines to
coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge,
referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs. · Evaluates
learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family
education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and
circumstances. · Works as an advocate for the physical and

should have a current Arkansas or compact state RN license and
possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
Additional requirements include: · Certifications: AHA Basic Life
Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire. · Required Skills: Requires
critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work
with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful
environment and take appropriate action. · Licenses: Must have a
current Arkansas or compact state RN license. · Education:
Associate's degree required. BSN preferred. · Experience: One year
