How you’ll make an impact in this role • Deliver safe, efficient support during surgical procedures to ensure optimal patient care and positive surgical outcomes. • Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments, instruments, and supplies to uphold patient safety and regulatory compliance standards. • Assist with patient preparation, positioning, and draping to support direct patient care and procedural accuracy. • Provide real-time surgical assistance by passing instruments and supporting hemostasis during complicated procedures. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. One or more of the following required: Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
