Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Conway,
Arkansas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Registered
Respiratory Therapist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional -
Start Date: 03/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week -
Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Title: Certified
Respiratory Therapist (CRT) – NICU Location: Conway, AR 72034
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night shift – 3x12 hours (7:00 PM – 7:00
AM); weekends required Job Responsibilities: - Provide respiratory
therapy services across NICU, ICU, ER, COVID units, nursery, and
floor assignments (rotating units) - Deliver care in Level II
nursery, including attendance at high-risk deliveries (including
C-sections), neonatal stabilization, ventilator support (typically
<24 hours), RAM cannula, Vapotherm, and heated nasal cannula
support - Perform ventilator management including BiPAP, CPAP,
IMV/SIMV, pressure/volume ventilators, troubleshooting
high-pressure alarms, and weaning from mechanical ventilation -
Provide oxygen therapy and respiratory treatments - Perform airway
management including endotracheal tube suctioning, extubation,
intubation assist, nasal/oral airway placement and suctioning,
sputum specimen collection, and tracheostomy care/management -
Assist with bronchoscopy (preferred) - Conduct pulmonary function
testing including spirometry (preferred) and bedside PFTs
(preferred) - Draw and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs),
capillary blood gases, and umbilical blood gases - Perform chest
physiotherapy and basic EKG interpretation - Support adult critical
care, emergency department, NICU, and pediatric patients -
Collaborate with Respiratory Services and Rapid Response Teams -
Follow facility holiday and weekend scheduling expectations
Required Qualifications & Skills: - CRT or RRT credential required
- Active Arkansas Respiratory Therapist state license required at
time of submission - Minimum 1–2 years of acute care experience
(must have at least 1 year; 2 years required per compliance
guidelines) - ER and ICU experience in acute care setting - NICU
experience required - Ventilator management experience - Oxygen
therapy experience - Airway management and suctioning skills -
Respiratory treatment administration - ABG drawing and
interpretation - Basic EKG competency - High-risk delivery support
experience - BLS certification required - Must reside more than 100
miles from facility (local candidates not accepted) - Valid state
license and certifications required at submission - References
