Job Description:

Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in integrated healthcare services, seeks a dedicated Quality/Risk Director to enhance our quality assurance and risk management programs. This role is pivotal in maintaining and elevating patient care standards across our inpatient and outpatient facilities. The Quality/Risk Director will oversee comprehensive risk assessments, develop improvement strategies, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations to promote a safe and effective care environment. Develop and implement comprehensive quality and risk management policies and procedures across all facilities. Lead internal audits and oversee the preparation for external audits to ensure compliance with national healthcare standards. Analyze patient care reports and other data to identify risks and areas for improvement. Manage the training and development of staff on quality improvement and risk management practices. Collaborate with other department leaders to integrate risk management with hospital operations. Monitor the effectiveness of quality and risk management initiatives and provide detailed reports to senior management. Ensure that all aspects of patient care comply with ethical standards and legal requirements. Strong leadership and organizational skills Expertise in healthcare quality assurance, risk management, and compliance Ability to analyze complex data and prepare strategic reports Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proven ability to lead and train teams Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) Risk Management Certification
