Licensed Speech Therapist to join our team at Maple Lawn Senior
Care located in Fulda, MN . With over 35 years of experience in the

new graduates! Position Type: PRN Hourly Wage: $55 Location: 400 NE
7th St, Fulda, MN 56131 Responsibilities of the Speech Therapist:
Evaluate and Diagnose Communication Disorders: Assess patient needs
and identify issues related to speech, language, voice, fluency,
and swallowing. Create and Implement Treatment Plans: Develop
tailored therapy programs aimed at enhancing the patient's
functional abilities. Deliver Speech and Language Therapy:
Facilitate exercises and interventions designed to improve
communication and speech skills. Educate and Support Patients and
Families: Provide guidance on effective communication strategies
and techniques to enhance daily living. Track Progress and Adjust
Treatment: Monitor patient advancements, document outcomes, and
modify therapy plans as necessary. Collaborate with Healthcare and
Educational Teams: Partner with physicians, educators, and other
therapists to ensure holistic support for patients. Qualifications
for the Speech Therapist: Must have graduated from an accredited
Speech Therapy program and hold a bachelor’s degree. Must possess a
valid Minnesota Speech Therapist License. Strong understanding of
state, federal, and local regulations related to home health care
is required. Ability to develop care plans and discharge strategies
for optimal patient recovery. Experience collaborating with
healthcare professionals to create comprehensive and individualized
treatment plans. Excellent communication skills to educate patients
and their families on therapy techniques and home care practices.
Must be capable of performing essential job functions, with or
without reasonable accommodations. Proficiency in English, both
spoken and written, is necessary to fulfill job responsibilities.
