Job Description MedAdventures is seeking a travel Long Term Care (LTC) Occupational Therapist for a travel job in Dover, Delaware. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Occupational Therapist Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel Occupational Therapist Role $2,200 per week Occupational Therapist (OT) – Skilled Nursing Facility Employer: Medadventures About the Role: Medadventures is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). In this role, you will help residents improve their independence, safety, and quality of life through evidence-based occupational therapy interventions. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate and assess residents’ functional abilities and therapy needs. Develop individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, ADLs (activities of daily living), and overall independence. Provide hands-on therapy sessions tailored to residents’ goals. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, nurses, and physicians. Document progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries in compliance with facility and regulatory requirements. Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy goals, safety, and home programs. Qualifications: Current state licensure (OT) required. Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program. Prior SNF or geriatric experience preferred, but new grads are welcome to apply. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
