ICU RN Job Details - Location: Mountain Home, AR 72653 – Explore the Ozarks, known for outdoor recreation, lakes, and a vibrant small-town atmosphere. - Healthcare Setting: 17-bed ICU/CSICU with advanced cardiovascular and surgical care - Assignment Type: Travel nursing contract - Start Date: November 24, 2025 - End Date: February 23, 2026 - Contract Duration: 13 weeks - Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (07:00 - 19:00) - Hours per Week: 36 - Patient Ratios: 1:2 - Weekend Coverage: Required (12 weekend shifts per contract) - Estimated Weekly Salary: $1700-$1820 ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications - Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN required, BSN preferred) - Active Arkansas or Compact State RN License - Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience, including open heart/heart recovery - Previous charge nurse experience required - Travel nursing experience highly preferred - Certifications: BLS and ACLS (required); NIHSS preferred - Experience with Cerner electronic charting preferred - Strong communication skills and basic computer proficiency - COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered) - This is a safety-sensitive position under Arkansas Act 593 ICU RN Responsibilities - Deliver direct patient care in a high-acuity ICU/CSICU setting for cardiovascular, surgical, and critically ill patients - Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans - Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide evidence-based care - Provide leadership and mentorship to fellow nursing staff - Manage advanced therapies and equipment, including IABP, ECMO, and Impella devices - Demonstrate expertise in arterial line management, ventilator management, cardiac drips, and post-cardiac surgery care - Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital policies and procedures Ready to take your ICU nursing career to the next level in Arkansas?
