Job SummaryProvides professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of employees. Prepares equipment and assists physicians during examinations and treatments. Observes and maintains record on patient care, conditions, reactions and progress. Assists in developing preventive health care programs.ResponsibilitiesProvides professional nursing care for employeesPrepares equipment and assists physicians during examinations and treatmentsObserves and maintains record on patient care, condition, reactions and progressAssists in developing preventive health care programsResponsible for all aspects of food safety and qualityIn the absence of the LPN, another qualified employee will be designated to temporarily fulfill the duties.Coordinates program that executes care for employee accidents/illnesses to meet objective of improving work efficiency, reducing absentee and accident rates, and reducing medical expenditures.Position QualificationMust hold appropriate licensure/certification in the state certificationMinimum of 2 years occupational health experience, preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skills are required.Physical RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
The employee frequently is required to stand and walk.
The employee is occasionally required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, and feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; taste and smell.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The employee will be exposed to a noisy environment that varies from hot to cold in temperature.
