Summary The Pharmacy Call Center Supervisor works closely with staff and reports to the Call Center Manager to ensure consistency in programs for the Medicaid recipient and facilitates effective interfaces among team members, providers, and Medicaid recipients. The Call Center Supervisor is also responsible for ensuring the day to day implementation of Medicaid services policies and procedures. Job Description

  • Supervises and provides day-to-day management of up to 20 call center professionals with Pharmacy Technician expertise
  • Performance reviews to evaluate staff on quality and performance metrics
  • Ensures Contracted Service Level Agreements requirements are met
  • Maintains required staffing levels to meet contract performance standards
  • Oversees training of new staff
  • Reviews and approves training curriculum to ensure staff are appropriately trained.
  • Continually monitors, assesses, and recommends improvement of the Call Center process
  • Ensures procedures manual is kept up to date
  • Attends Gainwell Technologies and customer meetings, policy work groups as appropriate Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience or combination of education and experience.
    • Certified Pharmacy Technician credential required
    • Previous call center supervision experience
    • Valid pharmacy technician license/certification/registration as required by state law. If national certification is required, it must be from an accredited pharmacy technician certification program (e.g. PTCB, ExCPT, etc.)
    • General computer knowledge including Microsoft Office, use of the internet, and email is required
    • Office based position, would consider work from home for right candidate
    • Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate peak volume times Desired Skills

      • Balances accuracy, quality, and efficiency in all tasks
      • A willingness and ability to learn internal systems/processes/programs, as needed
      • Basic math skills
      • Familiarity with medication names and medical terminology
      • Ability to learn quickly, solve problems, and make decisions with minimal supervision
