Golden Bear Packaging Inc., a leader in innovative packaging solutions, is seeking a detail-oriented Night Shift Maintenance Technician to join our Engineering & Maintenance team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the continuous operation of production machinery and equipment during night shifts. The successful candidate will be responsible for routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency repairs to minimize downtime and maintain our commitment to quality and sustainability in the packaging industry. Conduct regular and preventive maintenance checks on all machinery and equipment to ensure smooth operation. Identify and troubleshoot any mechanical issues with packaging machines and related equipment. Respond to emergency breakdowns during the shift, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules. Maintain detailed records of performed maintenance, repairs, and replacements. Coordinate with the daytime maintenance team to ensure a seamless transition and continuous improvement in machinery performance. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Proficient in using tools and diagnostic equipment for mechanical repairs. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Effective communication skills, capable of working independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with preventative maintenance software and systems. Forklift operation certification is beneficial.
