Job Description Job Description Maintenance Technician Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The primary objective of this role is to ensure the efficient operation of machinery and equipment by performing regular maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing preventative measures. Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment according to established schedules. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues in production equipment. Assist in the installation and setup of new machinery and equipment. Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and enhance equipment longevity. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to improve equipment performance and reliability. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in maintenance or a related field preferred. Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role, with a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems. Knowledge of packaging machinery and maintenance practices. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on preventative maintenance.
