(ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1
year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings.

considered. A dynamic opportunity is available for a skilled Sign
Language Interpreter to provide essential communication support
within an educational setting. This role involves assisting deaf
and hard-of-hearing students by interpreting spoken language into
sign language, facilitating effective communication in classrooms
and school-related activities. The position requires occasional
travel to various school sites to meet the needs of students and
staff. Key Responsibilities: Interpret spoken English into American
Sign Language (ASL) and vice versa during classroom instruction,
meetings, and school events. Ensure clear communication between
students, teachers, and staff. Collaborate with educators and
support personnel to enhance students' learning experiences.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while working with
students and faculty. Travel to multiple school locations within
the Dover area as required. Qualifications: Proficient in American
Sign Language with certification or equivalent experience. Prior
experience interpreting in educational settings preferred. Strong
communication skills and ability to work well with students of all
ages. Flexibility to travel to different school locations.
