Job Description Job Description Description: The Multi-Craft
Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining,
troubleshooting, and repairing facility systems, building
infrastructure, and exterior grounds to ensure a safe, clean, and
efficient working environment. While supporting overall operations,
this role places primary emphasis on building systems, property
upkeep, and facility reliability. The technician performs
preventive and corrective maintenance, supports facility
improvement initiatives, and ensures compliance with safety and
environmental standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

and preventive maintenance on building systems including HVAC,
plumbing, electrical, lighting, roofing, and facility
infrastructure to maximize reliability and safety. Maintain and
repair facility structures such as walls, doors, ceilings,
flooring, windows, docks, and exterior structures. Maintain
exterior grounds including landscaping, mowing, trimming, snow and
ice removal, drainage systems, fencing, parking lots, and walkways.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and
pneumatic systems related to facility equipment and infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC units, air compressors, plumbing
systems, and building-related utilities. Conduct routine facility
inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and
potential failures. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and
technical manuals to support accurate troubleshooting and repair.
Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to
document work orders, maintenance activities, and parts usage.
Maintain and organize maintenance tools, parts, and supplies;
coordinate with purchasing to replenish inventory as necessary.
Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized building,
grounds, or infrastructure projects as required. Support facility
upgrades, renovations, and capital improvement projects. Assist
with installation and commissioning of new facility equipment or
infrastructure improvements. Support production teams as needed to
ensure facility systems do not disrupt operational efficiency.
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with OSHA, EPA, HAZMAT,
MSDS, environmental, and company safety standards. Maintain a
clean, organized, and safe maintenance workspace. Demonstrate
strong time management, adaptability, and prioritization skills to
handle multiple assignments. Perform other related duties as
assigned. KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES: · Strong mechanical and
electrical troubleshooting skills, particularly related to facility
systems. · Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, lighting, building
electrical systems, and general infrastructure maintenance. ·
Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems associated with
building utilities and facility equipment. · Ability to read and
interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and building
schematics. · Proficiency in the use of hand tools, power tools,
lawn care equipment, and precision measuring instruments. · Basic
understanding of PLCs and automated control systems preferred. ·
Welding and light fabrication experience a plus. · Excellent
problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail. ·
Effective communication and teamwork skills with the ability to
work independently. · Strong understanding of OSHA safety
regulations and best practices. · Commitment to maintaining a
clean, organized, and professional facility environment.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical
certification or apprenticeship in maintenance, facilities, HVAC,
or related trade preferred. Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in
multi-craft, facilities, building, or industrial maintenance.
Demonstrated experience maintaining and repairing building systems
and infrastructure. Experience supporting facility and grounds
maintenance in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
Familiarity with CMMS systems and maintenance documentation
practices. Flexibility to work various shifts, weekends, or
holidays and respond to facility emergencies as needed. PHYSICAL
REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
Frequent standing, walking, climbing ladders, bending, kneeling,
and reaching. Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required
for tool and equipment operation. Visual acuity to inspect,
troubleshoot, and repair facility systems. Ability to work indoors
and outdoors in varying temperatures and industrial environments.
Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as
required.
