Job Description Job Description CoWorx is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cost Estimator to join our team in Conway, NH! This is a direct hire opportunity with competitive pay and long-term career growth potential. The ideal candidate will have experience in metal manufacturing, strong blueprint-reading skills, and a passion for delivering accurate quotes while maintaining company standards and customer satisfaction. Primarily office-based with occasional time on the production floor. Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour (based on experience) Full-Time, Day Shift | Monday–Friday Responsibilities: Follow the quoting process, cost estimating, planning (routing), and pricing for customer orders. Assist customers and prospective clients in a professional, courteous manner—striving for 100% satisfaction. Develop detailed manufacturing plans, including material, labor, and delivery estimates. Prepare and review worksheets showing expected margins and profit levels. Collaborate closely with production and management teams to ensure quotes are delivered on time and within target margins. Participate in team meetings, sharing ideas for improvement and reviewing win/loss quote results. Communicate clearly with customers about blueprint inconsistencies and project details. Help identify and resolve discrepancies between estimated and actual job costs. Desired Background/Skills: Minimum 1 year of experience in metal manufacturing or a related industry. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints. Strong computer skills – MS Word, Excel (intermediate level), and Outlook. Experience with manufacturing ERP systems preferred. Prior customer service or sales experience is a plus. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. PPE required on production floor (safety glasses and approved footwear).
