Job Description Job Description Leasing Agent (Temp) | Sunnyvale, CA LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a property management organization in Sunnyvale, CA to identify an experienced Leasing Agent with a strong background in affordable housing compliance, including LIHTC and HUD programs. This is an excellent opportunity for a leasing professional who enjoys working with residents, supporting occupancy goals, and ensuring compliance within a structured affordable housing environment. Pay Rate: Up to $28/hour Start Date: ASAP Contract Duration: 2 months The Leasing Agent will be responsible for supporting daily leasing operations, assisting prospective and current residents, and ensuring all move-in/move-out processes are completed accurately and in compliance with Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) and HUD regulations. The ideal candidate is customer-service driven, detail-oriented, and experienced in affordable housing documentation and eligibility requirements. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist prospective residents, providing tours and leasing information Support leasing activities for an affordable housing community under LIHTC and HUD guidelines Process rental applications, verifications, income certifications, and resident files Ensure compliance with HUD and Tax Credit regulations for eligibility and documentation Assist with move-in and move-out coordination, including lease execution and resident onboarding Maintain accurate leasing and compliance records within property management systems Respond to resident inquiries professionally and provide excellent customer service Support occupancy goals by following up on leads and maintaining strong resident communication Collaborate with the property management team to ensure smooth daily operations Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of leasing or property management experience At least 1 year of hands-on experience with LIHTC (Tax Credit) and HUD affordable housing programs Strong understanding of compliance documentation, certifications, and resident file requirements Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple applications and deadlines Familiarity with property management software is a plus Ability to work onsite and start immediately Pay Details: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour Search managed by: Kenneth Agojo Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
