Cox & Creswell, PLLC is a local, family oriented, public accounting firm located in downtown Conway, AR. We are looking for a Tax Accountant to work directly with clients to prepare tax returns for individuals and various entity types. In This Key Position, You Will: Conduct client meetings Prepare Tax Returns: 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120s or 1041 Use Accounting CS, Ultra Tax, & Lacerte Work on Estimated Tax Analysis, Tax Forecasting, and Miscellaneous Tasks as Needed Perform financial statement work for compilations and reviews What You ll Need to Qualify: At least 3 years of accounting experience (tax accounting preferred) CPA or EA strongly preferred Excellent knowledge of taxation, 1120, 1120S, 1040, 1065 Positive client-service attitude Attention to detail Sense of urgency Solid communication and time-management skills Ability to work effectively with remote clients and fellow team members Bachelor s degreeJob Type: Full-timeBenefits: SIMPLE IRA Plan Paid time off Health ReimbursementPhysical Setting: OfficeEducation: Bachelor's (Preferred)Experience: Tax: 3 years (Preferred)License/Certification: CPA (Preferred)Job Type: Full-timeBenefits: 401(k) matching Life insurance Paid time offSchedule: 8 hour shift Monday to FridaySupplemental Pay: Bonus payEducation: Bachelor's (Required)Experience: Tax experience: 1 year (Required)License/Certification: CPA (Preferred)Work Location: One location
